... by train

If you decide to come by train, check out www.bahn.de for the right connection.
Look for special offers, such as “Special offers for European guests”. The main station is in the center of town. There you have access to buses, taxis and trams. Tram no. 1 offers a very convenient way to get to the festival.

... by car

Freiburg is just a 5 minute drive away from the highway (motorway) A5. Take the exit “Freiburg-Mitte” heading “Freiburg” and you'll be on B31. Drive through the town, keep left at the tunnel, another mile and you turn right into the Moeslestr. that becomes to the Waldseestraße a little later. The location is on the right hand side - you won't miss it.
But remember: With public transportation it is much easier and more comfortable to visit the festival.

... by plane

Freiburg doesn't have an international airport, but you have three options in the neighbourhood. Every single one of them is not more than one hour away:

• EuroAirport Basel/Mulhouse,
• Strasbourg and
• Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden

There are good deals with RyanAir, Easyjet or dba, but you will get all this information on their websites.

... once you are in Freiburg

There is a parking lot close to the festival, but we highly recommend to use public transportation. Take the tram no. 1 heading “Littenweiler” and get off at “Altes Messegelaende”, turn right and walk down the Moeslestr., cross the railway tracks and a few hundred meters later there is the "Waldsee" on the right hand side. A one-way-ticket is 2,00 Euro and a good investment to get relaxed and comfortable to the festival.
